Did you know that The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station in Haddam, CT had a wonderful remodel in 2025! Here you’ll see some of the updates as well as weddings I adored in the winter and spring of the same year.

Perhaps you’d like to take some photos on the Riverhouse’s grand staircase or you’d like to pop over to Eagle’s Landing State park for bridal party photos as well as couple’s photos. Definitely a favorite spot of mine with the Connecticut river as the backdrop and the docks! Not to mention the East Haddam Swing Bridge is always so awesome to shoot in front of!

Need a place to get ready? Their bridal suite is always delightful! As well as their covered patio perfect for outdoor ceremonies. And if you can’t make it to the docks, the grounds at Riverhouse always work!

Do light up your wedding reception with proper uplighting. You’ll see the difference uplighting makes. If your DJ doesn’t provide it, we certainly do, because we are big believers in your photos being WOW!
